Welcome to the Personal Blog of Ts. Dr. Manivananan Rethinam – “DR. MANI”
Hello and welcome! I’m Ts. Dr. Manivannan Rethinam, but you can call me Dr. Mani. I’m a passionate advocate, a relentless leader, and a voice for those often overlooked. This space isn’t just a blog—it’s a movement. It’s where ideas spark action, where the struggles of the marginalised are brought to light, and where the fight for justice, equality, and unity takes centre stage.
As a Professional Technologist (Ts.) with a Doctorate in Business Administration, my expertise lies in marketing and technology management. However, my true calling is in public service and advocacy. I am deeply committed to fostering compassion, justice, and unity as foundational values for building a more empathetic and inclusive society. My work reflects a steadfast belief in the power of dialogue and collaboration to bridge divides and create a better future for all.
I currently serve as the Chairman of Majlis Gagasan Malaysia and Majlis Sentamil Malaysia, where I champion initiatives that promote social cohesion, technological advancement, and ethical governance. Previously, I served as the MIC Vice Chairman for National Information until my departure from the party in late 2017. My journey has been driven by an unwavering commitment to empowering the poor and needy, amplifying their voices, and addressing the systemic challenges they face. Through it all, I’ve learned that real change begins with understanding, compassion, and a shared sense of purpose.
Well-known for my active online presence and engagement, I am often associated with the hashtag #askmani, where I share insights and connect with a global audience on topics ranging from technology to social cohesion.
Here, you’ll find a mix of insights, reflections, and updates on my advocacy work, as well as my thoughts on the social, political, and economic issues shaping our nation. Whether you’re here to learn, engage, or simply explore, I’m thrilled to have you as part of this journey.
If you’d like to connect, share ideas, or collaborate on initiatives that drive positive change, feel free to reach out to me at drmanivannan@gmail.com. I’m always open to meaningful conversations and partnerships that can make a difference.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you leave here not just informed, but inspired to take action. Together, through unity and empathy, we can build a more just, equitable, and compassionate Malaysia.
Warm regards,
Ts. Dr. Manivannan Rethinam
